Current Affairs with E.S.C.

E.S.C. in LA at Purgatory Pizza

Yo what’s up guys, its Parker, bassist from E.S.C. April was a crazy / weird month for the band. We had a show booked and promoted early in the month, but then abruptly cancelled, another show that fell through, and then a show we had to cancel because Kevin got super sick.

Less than a week later after that we got hit up to play in downtown LA and had to decide within less than 24 hours. We were determined to play a show this month, so we hoped on! It was kind of a whirlwind how it all came together so quickly, but glad we made it happen. The show was awesome!

Big shout out to the ownership at Purgatory Pizza for supporting this show and the local scene in general and everyone that came out to see the show. Also shout to the bands that came from all over: Savage and the Witch from San Diego, Xray Xerox from LA, and Wealthy Women from San Francisco.

Check out some pics and our full set here. Thanks for stopping by, see you guys in May.

1.10.26 - The Caravan Lounge

Hey friends. Don here, lead guitarist of E.S.C. We are going to start blogging our shows and what’s going on with the band here on our website, and this is our first entry. I wanted to start writing again because it’s the best way to remember and look back on all the fun, challenging, and grateful moments we get to experience.

We kicked off 2026 with a show at The Caravan Lounge in San Jose, CA. We played alongside Maps and Successor. You should definitely check both of these bands out. They rock.

The Caravan Lounge was the very first venue we ever played as a band. That show was on 12.27.24. We were surrounded by friends, family, and people we had never met before who ended up becoming friends. Hi Gabe! At the time, our goal was just to play a show before the year ended, and we got our chance. Thanks to Rachel for giving us that opportunity.

Coming back to The Caravan this year felt really special. We had a full year to develop, practice, and grow as a band. Our confidence was higher, our live set felt tighter, and we walked in excited and ready to play. It honestly felt like coming back home after being away for a year.

Here are some images from the night, along with a video of our full set.
